- Their wedding took place in her parents residence, Minto Street, Lumsden, Saskatchewan, Canada. Had no children. In 1913 was living in Lumsden, Saskatchewan, Canada when her father died. They farmed south of Lumsden and retired to Lumsden in 1931. In 1934 was living in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Was living in Lumsden, Saskatchewan in 1938. In 1949 they moved to 802 - 18th Avenue N. W., Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Pallbearers at her funeral were Albert Playdon, John Fleming, Clayton Stewart, Charlie Klein, W. A. Heiden and Ronald J. Dancer. Soloist was Mrs. Helen Rutz with Mr. Bill Hadden as organist. Buried in Queen's Park Cemetery, Calgary, Lot 26, Block 13, Section J.

Pettigrew - June 27th, Mrs. Mary Ann Pettigrew, aged 78 years of 802 18th Ave., N.W. Born at Park River, N.D., she has lived in Calgary the past 10 years, coming from Lumsden, Sask. where she has resided since 1904. Her husband, John predeceased her on May 17th this year. Surviving are a sister Miss Agnes Baird, Lumsden, Sask; two brothers James A. Baird of Regina & Ernest Baird, Saskatoon. Services were held at Foster's Garden Chapel, 540 16th Ave. N.W., Monday at 3:30 p.m. Rev. Gerald Doran officiating. Interment Queen's Park.
