BLADON, Mary - Born in Lumsden. Sask., 1909, passed away on Friday, May 10, 1996 at the age of 86. Predeceased by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Baird; one brother and sister-in-law John and Josephine Baird; first husband Jack Barmby, late of Lang, Sask., in 1964; second husband Arthur Bladon, late of Lang, in 1967; Mary is survived by one brother Norman (Mona) of Kelowna, B.C.; two sisters: Annie (Archie) Hagerty of Moose Jaw and Fannie (Arthur) Harvey of Regina; numerous nieces and nephews; one sister-in-law Mildred Rea of Lang. Mary received her schooling in Lumsden and took nurses training at Regina General Hospital. She moved to Regina where she resided until her passing. Her last years were spent at Qu'Appelle House. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 14, 1996 at 2:30 p.m. in Lang United Church with the Rev. Stewart Mills officiating.. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to express their sympathy may donate in her memory to the Qu'Appelle House Memorial Fund, 1425 College Avenue, Regina, S4P 1B4. Arrangements in care of Speers Funeral Chapel and Crematorium Services.
