Married under license F44182; groom John Allan Thompson, age 21, bachelor, resident of Orillia, born Orillia, labourer, Presbyterian; bride Greta Mae (May) Harrington, age 22, resident of Orillia, born Orillia, Gospel Hall; witnesses Edith Willman, Medoia Lake and Mabel Hutson, 14 Dunlop Street, Orillia; married in the Presbyterian Church Manse, 28 Neywash Street, Orillia on 4 December 1929 by Rev. Frank Lynn Harrington remembers John Allan Thomson as being a truck driver.

THOMSON, John Allan - At the Soldiers'' Memorial Hospital, Orillia after4 a lengthy illness, on Saturday, January 8, 1983. John Allan Thomson beloved husband of Greta May Harrington; in his 75th year. Dear father of William of Orillia, father-in-law of Betty. Loving grandfather of Nancy and Michael. The late John Allan Thomson rested at the Crawford Chapel of the Doolittle Funeral Home, 54 Coldwater Street East, Orillia. Funeral service was held in the Chapel on Monday, January 10th at 3:00 p.m. Temporary entombment St. Andrew's Cemetery Vault, Orillia.
