- aka Bob. Born in Hole in the Wall, East 1/2 Section 5, Township 4, Range 21, West 2nd, near Bengough, Saskatchewan, Canada. Bob attended Good Times School District and Hardy, Grades 1 to 10. Attended Ceylon High School Grades 11 and 12 graduating in 1936. In Grade 12 he stayed with the Hennessy family in Ceylon. Joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1942, Sargent R176422, Regina and Winnipeg, served overseas and was discharged after WWII. He reenlist in the Air Force then resigned in 1953 and became a shop inspector for Bristol Aerospace in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Was a cowboy and cat skinner (operated a Caterpillar tractor on construction sites) in Saskatchewan, a mechanic and flight engineer in various places in Canada and a rocket inspector in Canada and Norway. Lived in Hardy, Saskatchewan. Lived in Winnipeg, for over thirty years. Moved to Comox, British Columbia, Canada in November 1989. In the Winnipeg City Directories, Robert was listed 1967-1986 as the owner of 398 Tinniswood Street and an Inspector at Bristol Aerospace; 1987-1989 was listed as retired.
