BLOOD - A. Wayne Blood of Cochrane, Alberta, passed away suddenly in the Wildcat Hills Area, on Monday, September 29, 1997 at the age of 59 years. Wayne worked for Petro Fina and Petro Canada for over twenty-seven years. Wayne enjoyed bowling, traveling, photography, golf, watching sports and took great pleasure in his grandchildren. Wayne was a member of the Cochrane Lions Club and has resided in the Cochrane area for thirty-six years. Wayne was predeceased by his father Sam Blood, and is survived by his wife Melva; daughters, Heather (Nick), Brenda (Gord); son Ross; and grandchildren, Chelsea and Gavin. He is also survived by his mom May Blood; sister Pat (Lorne); niece Gail (Derek) Salvage and nephews Guy and Craig Woods; and his mother-in-law Myrtle Porter. Funeral Services will be held at St. Andrew's United Church (128 - 1 Street East) Cochrane, Alberta, on Friday, October 1, 1997 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Donald E. Koots officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lions Club, Box 640, Cochrane, Alberta, T0L 0W0.Arrangements in care of Cochrane Funeral Services, Cochrane, Alberta.
