- aka Nellie. Graduated from high school in 1925 at Morse, Saskatchewan, Canada. Was a school teacher. Lived in Pense, Morse and Snowden, Saskatchewan, Canada, Flin Flon and Brandon, Manitoba, Canada. After John died, Helen went to Brandon and lived with her daughter Marlene. Died from heart failure. Buried in Brandon Cemetery Section 47 - 81B.

WEBSDALE: The death of Helen Marion Websdale (Nell), occurred at the Brandon General Hospital on February 24, 1986. Born, Helen Marion Thomson, at Pense, Sask., on Dec. 20, 1906, Mrs. Websdale had been a resident of Brandon for a number of years. She was predeceased by her husband Jack Websdale in 1969. Surviving are her five children, Jim Websdale of Winnipeg; Marlene Websdale of Brandon; Keith of Saskatoon; Ron of Brandon and Mrs. Scott Edmond (Margaret) of Winnipeg. There are 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild. One sister, Mrs. Fred Gerl (Marjorie), as well as numerous nieces and nephews, also survive. Funeral service was held at the Brockie-Donovan Chapel on Feb. 27, 1986 with Rev. Lloyd Lovering officiating. Interment was in the Brandon Cemetery.
