    • "RIX, Lenora Irene (nee: Ward) Peacefully at the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, July 27th, 2004; in her 90th year. Beloved wife of Walker (predeceased), for 63 years. Loving mother of Larry (predeceased), Frances Thompson and husband Doug of Oshawa. Proud grandma of Adam and Ruth Ann. Dear sister of Verna, Wesley, Anna, Sandra, Margaret and David (predeceased). She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. A lady of strong Christian service and family devotion. The late Mrs. Lenora Rix will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Then to St. George's Fairvalley Church on Saturday, July 31st from 1:30 p.m. until time of Celebration of Lenora's Life at 2:30 p.m. Interment: St. George's Fairvalley Cemetery. Oro-Medonte. If desired, memorial donations to the Sanctuary Street Ministry, Hospice Orillia, St George's Fairvalley, or to a charity of one's choice."
