  Carleton Sentinel Newspaper April 24, 1897 Very suddenly, at Pembroke, Carleton Co., N. B., April 7th, 1897, Mr. Lyman Shaw, aged sixty nine years. He leaves to mourn their loss two sons, O. W. Shaw of Aroostook Co., Maine, and W. B. Shaw of Windsor, C. C., N.B., and three daughters Mrs. Beverly Alward of Boston, Mass., Mrs. James Barnett of Speerville, C.C., N.B., and Mrs. W. R. Stapleford of Lowell, Mass. He died in the full assurance of a glorious resurrection.
