He was born in Eldred, Pa., and had lived in the Warren Pa., area for about 20 years prior to moving to Hornell about 10 years ago, where he lived with a daughter, Mrs. Alberta Baker. He was a retired dairy farmer. He attended services at Hornell Gospel Center. He is survived by one son, Kenneth of Wellsville; six daughters, Mrs. Baker, Mrs. Mildred Snyder of Arkport, Mrs. Jean Cressley of Spring Creek, Pa., Mrs. Marian Leatherman of Middletown, Md., Mrs. Lois Wigden of Freedom and Mrs. Kathryn Miller of Kerhonkson; a sister, Mrs. Charles Wood of West Shokan; 35 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
